I think what I like most is they don't edit out the mishaps or the things that ALWAYS go wrong when doing custom work.

We like how the wood grain and the harsher angles gives it a retro feel, while the screens and controls brings it up to a more modern look! Thanks for the compliment and the support!

I really appreciate the fact you guys show your struggles, like the MAF sensor issues in this episode and others you've shown along the way. While it's awesome to see everything all buttoned up and run perfect, it's this process of making it come together even when things suck that make these videos even more enjoyable. This truck is coming together nicely!

Super cool build! I love this truck! (Side Note) At the very end it sounds like the recording equipment automatically dropped the sound level when you ran the truck. Everything sounded very muffled.
@SalvagetoSavage

The cameras do that a little so that the audio from the exhaust doesn't sound like static fuzz. We'd rather give y'all some clean exhaust audio with our voices a bit muffled cause we know that's what you came to hear!

Dudes! THAT sounds EXCELLENT!! ... but I hope you get why I wouldn't want any of that complicated computer/electronically driven component stuff. I'd want a bare bones basic beast of a power plant... not even EFI. The cars I had started every time no matter the weather when I finally got everything dialed in. I just don't want the complication and drama of all those finicky wires and modules and sensors and what not. But what you guys have done is AMAZING! I can't wait to see you button this up - and I hope it gets close to the north for a show or something (Minneapolis area) so I can see it up close and in person.
@SalvagetoSavage

There's definitely a ton of beauty in the simplicity of old school, mechanically driven components. The computers get a bit tricky but they definitely help when it comes to making safe, consistent power in these builds. Hopefully one day this truck will make it up to PRI and be close to your neck of the woods!

That was the plan but it never ended up happening, so we ended up taking this route. He definitely mentioned it in the cab episode, so great memory. I’m always pretty impressed by Dave’s craftiness. I would say I’m a little curious about those kick panels for the speaker mounts, do you plan to put a basket surround behind the speakers? It would improve the sound beyond basic sound deadening for those kick panels. By the way, that dash looks phenomenal!
@Therealrichdude

I'm sure it's just cosmetic. It's not intended for performance but just looks. The same goes for the dash. Why would you wrap a perfect metal piece. I would have used the same paint as the truck.

Thank you! We're really excited about how the dash ended up! We're not big audio guys here, so we're always open to suggestions on how to improve that. We'll definitely look into beefing up the area behind the speaker before the final install though!

I'm a big fan of your channel, yours builds, but what you've done for the front speakers is massive junk ! Speakers need a close solid enclosure made of wood, MDF is fine, you should have done way better, this is clearly not a the level you normally achieve ! That dash is pure porn !

Great start, but I didn't like the final touches!! Why would you wrap a dash(use the truck paint)? I understand it's a show truck, but the LED strips will eventually fall. I would have done something more permanent.
