After working with citrus fruits, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and cold water (heat and moisture can make the reaction worse), then minimize Sun exposure on the affected area for the next two days. If you have to go out, apply sunscreen. And it _sounds_ worse than it generally _is._ It's typically no worse than a bad sunburn... because now that I think about it, it basically _is_ just a bad sunburn, just one that set in quicker than usual due to the chemicals in citrus fruits. Redness, burning, itching, peeling, blisters. Chances are, you'll be fine.

I have watched this so many times because I love love looooove lemons! Twice a year, my husband strips the tree and I have the joyous job of zesting laundry baskets full of lemons…I stay up all night enjoying the delicious, wonderful aroma of lemons. (I pack it in small containers, the larger ones with sugar, the smaller, with salt, and freeze them, for use throughout the year for cakes, desserts and the salty ones, dressings or other savoury dishes that need lemon) The next day I juice them. Usually I freeze it in icecube trays and disposable IceCube bags because I don’t have enough trays. Last year I didn’t have enough freezer room so I made lemon cordial. This year I boiled the juice to reduce it a little and filled sterilised jars….they all sealed, I am excited to see whether it retains its vibrant freshness, unlike the horrid bottles of lemon juice that you can buy. Emmi, I just love watching you

Emmy, I love how chatty and "real time" this video was!! It really felt like we were in your kitchen hanging out with you for the day while you made some cool stuff. I really prefer this style of video over the ones where you meet us at the end of the project and narrate back what you've already done. I miss your real time reactions and musings during those videos. THIS one felt like the older videos that I fell in love with when I first discovered your channel. 💜 Thanks for inspiring us every week!!

A video of someone doing a drink is really refreshing. Everyone is so busy doing cooking videos.

Thanks for the lemonade recipe! Since the weather has been warming up, such a refreshing beverage is really appreciated. You inspired me to make it and then I added a boatload of lavender syrup to my own because lavender lemonade is my absolute favorite. It was a hit with my family.

When pouring boiling hot water into glass it is best to put a clean spoon, regular tablespoon, the cup and pour the water or it so not to crack the glass. Pyrex is fine tho..

I can't help but audibly responding to your intro with an enthusiastic "Hello Emmy!!!!" every single time. Good thing I work mostly alone.
