In the final segment regarding separating assembly files into their own components. What is the advance to this, as compared using Insert:Derive. With Derive your component will update if its original file changes. Thanks your time, appreciate your willingness to share your skills!

Fusion said this in their directions, but they are so brief. What they didn't show is there was an export in a location in a right mouse under the component. The one explained from Fusion resulted in a file with no timeline and no sketch's.

Good Job Adam. I used your snap fit tutorial when I started last year. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I'm really interested in learning more about the best ways to approach more complicated assemblies, particularly your take as I really like your presentation style. Cheers Richie

Thanks for the video, Adam. You have a good way of presenting ideas. Very new to F360, so I need to go back and forth between sketches often to fix my screw-ups. Didn't realize i could name them. It makes it so much easier to find the right one. I've subscribed now and will search for more of your work. I know it takes a lot of time to prepare to make a good video and I appreciate your efforts. Thanks!

Thanks Adam. Can you go over the importance and/or use of FOLDERS in the manufacturing environment SETUP section. Also, I am trying to locate how to COLOR CODE the different components in the TIMELINE. I have seen it done before but I can't seem to find that option. I am sure it is embarrassingly simple. Thanks,

Hi Robert, that's a great idea! I can certainly see if I can incorporate folders into my next organizational fusion 360 video. As for the Color Code, I may have to do some digging. Thanks for the support!

This was super helpful. One question I had was, how did you have multiple components from the start? Did you just create one from a blank sketch or did I miss something?

Great video. Something to note is the tone in your speaking seems a little condescending or negative. Its like how someone talks to someone who is in trouble for doing something stupid. Lol. Otherwise a great video.
