From my reaction at the end, you can tell I was pumped. At the time with the damp conditions, this was actually a good run putting me up around 18th overall. However, being in the first heat for a rain event that dries during the day is lame. Heat 2 in the afternoon was wetter, then heat 3 was basically all dry.
The car itself was much better on turn in and mid corner too. All the understeer was basically gone and it felt like the old DS car and knew again, just with a higher limit. A limit I haven't fully figured out yet since this was the first time the car actually drove correctly. Turns out you need to stick to the coilover manufacturer's recommendations for ride height. Even though I made the rear finally work for a few events after the issues earlier this year, the front needed lowered too... and then the rear again even lower to match.
