Ingredients:
-2lbs flank steak
-1packet of Old El Paso Fajia seasoning ( or whatever brand you like)
-Garlic Powder
-Onion Powder
-Salt
-Pepper
-A1 marinade
-2 zucchini’s
-1/2 a onion
-4 jalapeños
-1 Package of mushroom
-Olive oil
-Unsalted butter
-Tortillas
Meat recipe:
Seasoning
-1.5 tsp garlic powder
-1 tsp onion powder
-3/4tsp pepper
-1/2tsp salt
-1/2 of a packet of the fajia seasoning of your choice
-1 bottle of A1 marinade
Direction:
-Generously season both sides of the flank steaks, then add meat into a ziplock bag. Pour one whole bottle of the A1 marinade into the bag. Shake the bag making sure the marinade is evenly distributed, then place in the fridge for at least 2 hours but you can leave in marinade up to 12 hours.
-Once your meat is finish marinating remove from the fridge. Then turn your stove on to medium heat. Once your pan is hot, add your meat and allow it to cook on each side for 5 minutes( this is for rare steak).If you do not like rare steak, then leave in pan longer till you reach your desired temperature while occasionally flipping the steak.
-Once the steak is cooked to your liking, remove it from the heat, cover it in tin foil, and allow it to rest for 5 minutes.
-When it has finished resting, cut the meat against the grain and it is ready to eat!
Vegetables recipe:
-2 zucchini’s
-1/2 Onion
-1 Package of Mushroom
-4 Jalapeños
-1/2 tbsp butter
-Cut the zucchini, onion, and mushroom into desired thickness. Sauté each vegetable on medium heat with roughly 2 tablespoons of olive oil on medium heat.
note: if you are using a nonstick pan you will only been about a teaspoon of olive oil
-Allow the water to cook out of the zucchini, mushrooms, and onion. Once they have started to develop some color go ahead and season the mushroom and zucchini. Season both vegetables with 1/4tsp of garlic powder, 1/8 of a tsp of onion powder, salt, and pepper each.
-Then allow the vegetables to sauté for about 2 more minutes. Right before you remove your mushrooms add 1/2 tsp of butter.
-sauté your onions in oil till they start to develop a light brown color, then add 1/2tsp of butter. Continue to sauté till they have caramelized into a dark brown
-To cook your Jalapeños, start by removing the stem. Turn your stove onto medium heat and add about a tablespoon of olive oil to your pan. Once your pan is hot, add your peppers and allow to cook till the skin is blistered on all sides. Then remove from heat
