The Wild Geese mercenary movie....a scene with the troops using a cyanide fogger to dispatch a barracks of enemy soldiers....dirty trick.

The Wild Geese. An excellent film. Always wanted a sterling smg because of Star Wars and almost built one as a semi auto pistol.

This was a great blast from the past & the STAR WARS reference was hilarious. I do appreciate our closed bolt guns nowadays. MP-5 I believe was my first closed bolt subgun to shoot & I was hooked. Great video Jason.

This is a great video about a wonderful SMG. I used to hold the magazine well on Sten’s and Sterling’s till I had a round go off out of battery. Since these fire from an open bolt. As you know with open bolts the chances of an out of battery increase quite a bit over a closed bolt. The experience hurt quite a bit, with the unburned powder residue and gasses being focused down the mag well into the palm of my hand.

I know exactly what you mean. Had the same thing happen recently with a PPS-43. It was a very unpleasant experience.

I think the Hughes amendment makes all of us sad! I actually have a video coming out next week in which I talk about that and the different regulations governing machine gun ownership.

I am working on getting some of the older German guns. I prefer most of the modern platforms and that is what I have been focused on for a while but I am starting to really enjoy some of the older guns from the last century and their historical significance in helping design the modern guns. Stayed tuned for some more vintage firearms.

Got it. Nope! (This is actually a good question and many people probably wonder this) And this is why... People like IraqVeteran8888, Garand Thumb, etc, have a huge following and are usually given product and paid to do the videos that they do. They are also doing mostly semi-auto or binary trigger stuff, so when a gun gets destroyed, replacing it is easy and costs about $600-1000 which is usually replaced by the company. The machine guns that I am sharing with you guys are highly restricted and taking them off the NFA registry once destroyed is a nightmare, and more importantly, they are all purchased with my own money, with some of the transferable machine guns being in the $20K-$70K range and no one is paying me to make these or replacing the product. As much as it sounds like fun, I don't see myself blowing tens of thousands of dollars of my own money to destroy a rare or historical firearm any time soon. Now, if someone wants to donate one of their firearms to the cause, I will gladly see what it takes to melt it down. Also, please know that there is no snarkiness in my response, I really do think it is a great question and most people don't know what some of these guns cost. I have melted a few suppressors in my day but those are a lot less expensive and most companies will replace them if it was done within the constraints of their warranty.

Ha ha! In some ways yes… and yet here it is, over 70 years later and still working better than many guns made much more recently. Sometimes simple just works!
