Learning to stickhandle the puck wide to the outside of your legs can be useful in many situations, especially protecting the puck when under pressure and deking under a defender’s stick.
In this drill, make sure your feet stay in the middle of the cones as you work on bringing your hands close together when the puck is far from your body, and your hands farther apart when the puck is close to you.
