I’m extremely sad that I was born too late to experience this stuff. Like all my favorite bands are either broken up or way past their prime with different band members. With the exception of Tool.

Seen these guys 4 times in the 2000s..also saw weiland with Velvet Revolver and one of his solo shows. Man do I wish I would have got to see them in their early years. However in 93 I would have been 9 and didn't hear their music until 8 years later when I met my now husband and we attended the Family Values tour in 2001. Snuck down to floor at the start of STP's set and from that moment on I found myself a huge fan. It was right after 9/11 and weiland got completely undressed and wrapped himself in a flag. When he died I felt like part of my youth died. .

Some of the greatest singers have all done drugs and that's a fact you can't dispute because if none of them did drugs and wrote the way the wrote it when they were doped up and didn't let them express themselves then most music would be generic and bland
