So explicitly helpful and informative! I’m at the PT 3X per week. They’ll give me home follow through of course. But all the other hours, everyday, that I’m still working on this singular mission, this recovery and max rehab of this new knee - Tony is who I’m listening to. I really appreciate these tutorials infused with his experience.

I am so thankful for this new info about my calf muscle not being used to all this exercise since surgery, since it's an endurance muscle. I had a funny feeling that it was the increase in exercise that was causing pain. I am really looking forward to trying the roller and doing the stretches on my calves too. *I had double knee replacement.

Soooo...I can walk upstairs (4 weeks post op TKR) but cannot walk down! I am practicing on a single step stool in the kitchen. HELP!

Yep, walking down step over step is much harder than walking up. There are a couple solutions. First, how is your range of motion? Do you know what your flexion is? I know I had a video on Facebook, but I am not sure if I added it to KZitem showing how I progress clients from side stepping down to 1/4 turn to full turn.

@@totaltherapysolutions I have pretty good ROM...I achieved 120 this week with MUCH effort! I am usually 107. I side step on my little half stool in the kitchen. I have not seen your video on the 1/4 turns. Not sure what that is? Thank you for your help! This has been a trip!

If we just got surgery done, why is every KZitem video showing us examples of people with there legs bending and doing all sorts of stuff that us folks who just got surgery done and have a whole cast around the knee obviously can’t do. KZitem is so unhelpful with giving tips for this particular problem man smh..

Sorry you feel that way, Look around my channel. I have a lot of real patients doing real exercises from 24-hours after surgery to months after surgery. Here is one I found kzitem.info/news/bejne/o2-b1X2FhWlpp3Ysi=oHaUo-fYfKsUSEYj
