You need to seriously quit portraying a person sitting in their car staring at their drone video screen, and never once even occasionally pretending to look out the window to observe the drone visually. This is definitely portraying a dangerous habit of flying without visually observing your drone even if this is not the case in your real life. Here is and example of a real world scenario,, in your particular environment. You could be flying your drone an run into a bird or have a bird run into you and then your drone uncontrollably crashes down onto the street and slams into a car causing a serious accident. If you were visually observing you're drone you would have a better chance of avoiding either being attacked by a bird or accidentally running into one. Part-107 Visual line-of-sight (VLOS) only; the unmanned aircraft must remain within VLOS of the remote pilot in command and the person manipulating the flight controls of the small UAS. Alternatively, the unmanned aircraft must remain within VLOS of the visual observer. • At all times the small unmanned aircraft must remain close enough to the remote pilot in command and the person manipulating the flight controls of the small UAS for those people to be capable of seeing the aircraft with vision www.faa.gov/uas/media/Part_107_Summary.pdf

Excellent tutorial. Scouting with the drone is the key, I use up a battery on that, then take the planned shots, and then a third battery on the surprises I found on the scout flight - which can be the best. And if I have to get really close to a hazard and there's no traffic or people, I start at the hazard, fly away from it, then reverse the clip in post. Great video - thanks for reminding me about the map and flying the track. 😀

I'm a pilot of a Piper Warrior(not current)....yes a real plane. When you're in training with maneuvers like slow flight, stalls, steep turns, etc, you always perform 'clearing turns' of 90º in each direction to watch out for traffic. With what you're doing is the same thing except your 'traffic' ain't moving. Nice observation.

I turn then I fly and I always always look around the drone physically while flying, so I don't stare at the drone and shabang, a tree comes at it. I watched a lot of helping tips on how to fly it. The wide angle lens can be misleading. As a drone flyer without obstacle avoidance I can't afford flying around without using some sort of knowledge

Finally the mini 2 drone that I just bought 2 months ago crashed. I don't know where the error is, when flying 70 meters with a height of 25 meters, suddenly the drone cannot be controlled via the remote controller. The drone flew to the right quickly and hit the wall. The gimbal is crushed and there are cracks in the body. I've tried to do the opposite movement but the RC does not give any effect. Dunno what happened. Really confusing.

Well I have my own crash that I had with my Air 2 at the beach. And for now I'm just going to leave it there as Sadly I'm going through a literal Nightmare with dji Support about it as at first I couldn't find it as it went down literally on a cliff and it was private property. A lot more to the story. But as DJI has put it We are so sorry for the grief we have put you through stage were talking about 20 emails of nonsense. And a good half dozen phone calls with their tech support. At first it was Oh well you just lost Eight hundred DOLLARS. But luckily the house on the top of the cliff was out of town and got my letter I had left on his porch. And was a very nice person and texted me the night before Valentine day.And helped me bye allowing me on the property and helped me look for it. And low and behold we found it in less than ten minutes. Me very happy as the drone was relatively undamaged 😮. Very long and Aggravating dealing with Dji support. And there almost Daily emails. So they have promised to make it right for all the anguish they have been putting me through. And now have my drone and are analyzing it. So I'll stop at that point. And see what they mean by don't worry were so sorry and we would like to make it right Stage at this time 🙄🤔.Should know by next week what that means. To be continued. 😬 just hoping for the best at this point. 🤞🙏

Lol. Always love your videos. Another good and of course funny video.I think the side sensors aren’t really needed. About 80 to 90% of the time your flying forward. I believe the Biggest reason why pilots crash is because they rush things, fly way to fast and don’t look around and survey the area. Basically they fly blindfolded. I know accidents can happen but it should be a rarity. If pilots where actually inside the aircraft I guarantee they would be more careful. Lol.... Good suggestion regarding limiting the risk of a crash and ideas for flights. PS. I always use Satellite view on maps. Seems strange I see almost everyone use standard maps. I just like knowing what’s under me or in my area. Trees, houses and especially tall objects. Gives a much better look of the area in my opinion. Take care, enjoy.....
