I just finished Day 25! I am so pumped. I've never stayed with an exercise routine (even walking) this long in years. I combined the series with add on fun cardio workouts. My balance is so much improved and who knew I could do a plank at age 64! Now I am exploring longer cardio workouts to mix and match with the continued strength training. Thank you Jules!!!

Initially when I thought of strength training I imagined weights that I couldn't handle for that long but you showed me .. you taught me...that there are exercises that don't need a lot of weight but still have all the benefits. Planks and pushups...never had a desire to do them on my own, but now I put them every so often a couple of times a day. Pulse squats, never did them, but now I can feel my butt lift towards my shoulders 😂and as far as I can get my body parts away from the ground...OMG...the better. And your gorgeous angelic voice that never waivers no matter how much is involved. Jules thank you immensely. With the monthly calendars, I generally add in all-in-ones and cardio. I leave the full strength workouts out since I know there are lots of folks who only want to do cardio or the all-in-ones. I would highly recommend doing the strength workouts since the more muscle you have, the better (and don't worry, you won't get 'bulky'). If you're up for it, you can start the 5 day strength program, and just add on whatever cardio workouts you'd like to do. I've designed the program to do M-F, with the weekend off. You can do cardio every day. @@cathymushock8412

What a great beginning and end of this 25 days of strength training programme. Was able to hold the plank for 65 seconds. Enjoyed doing all the exercises including ab twist,side raises,circles, dead lifts and kegels.I have seen many videos where they show arms straight in front to do the squats. I think this way it puts more pressure on the back. But I put my hands on the side of my waist or on the side of my ears and I find that there is no pressure on the back at all. What do you think about it. Can’t explain how much I am great full to you for whatever you do for us. Hope more and more people follow and donate to your channel to keep it going. Can’t wait for your all in one videos or any other videos you post in future. Wish you all the best in life. Stay blessed Jules❤

Thank you so much for your comment. I did have that exercise in two of my videos and I edited it out yesterday exactly for the reason you mentioned. Congrats on the 65 second plank! 💪 ‘See’ you soon for a new workout:)

My husband and I have completed the program. We are looking to do the program 3 times a week. Initially I was thinking to just do Day 20 to 22 one week and 23 to 25 the following. However, that method (although alternating between UB and LB workouts) has 2 UB and 1 LB the first week. Should I switch to 19, 20 and 21 for the first week to get LB, UB, LB? You have the perfect personality for us. You motivate us without yelling at us, make us feel good about our accomplishments. We want to continue to get stronger. Thank you for this program. The 2 week, 3 time a week UB and LB workout would be the perfect DVD for us to take on the road (hint! hint!)

Oh gosh, I have had the DVD stuff on my list of things to do for weeks and weeks. I really need to get on that. So many things pop up in the day but it's still on my list (right in front of me on my desk!). As for your question, ideally try to get in 2 days of upper body and 2 days of lower body. You could lump them together and do an upper body and lower body together and do that twice a week. This way it's still not overwhelming in terms of time. The plan you mentioned is also great so it really comes down to how much time you have/want to spend doing strength workouts.

Thanks so much for sharing the series, Sue! I don't have a more advanced one, yet. I created the cardio/strength part 1 and 2 a few weeks ago which have more challenging strength workouts within them. My suggestion is to either do those two together twice a week (you can skip the cardio if you only want the strength portions) and then switch up the cardio each time. Or, use the last two weeks of the strength series and add on an extra set of the exercises. There are tons of great strength videos on YT as well if you really want more challenging strength exercises (until I create more:).

Hello, I just wanted to ask you a question. Instead of repeating week five if we would like to try different workouts but still continue to build strength could we do your All in One’s? Maybe do those 3x a week? I have never tried one. Is there a strength section in those? If so, do you have any you could recommend that I could do to keep up my strength routine but add more variety. I want to keep improving. Or do you think I should stay with these videos and keep repeating?
@ImprovedHealth
Жыл бұрын
You can absolutely change things up. The all-in-ones have strength exercises within them. Just do your best to challenge yourself with heavier weights since I often have us do 1 set (you can always add on another set to get more out of them). I would also suggest to add on 1-2 sets of squats after the all-in-ones (unless I already do 2-3 sets in the workout). That way your legs get more of the workout and you'll benefit more. Each all-in-one is quite different so just try different ones to keep things interesting, and also to challenge your body in different ways. I have gentle, beginner and intermediate all-in-ones so you can choose the level that suits you best.

I will be moving onto the 5 Day program after a short break but I am wondering why it says level 3 Does this mean that this work out was level 2, or is there another series I've overlooked? Great to read that you're moving up with the weights and challenging yourself appropriately to see more results. I considered this series as beginner level, and felt the next 5 day series fit the 'intermediate' category better since it does get more challenging. For the 5 day series, you can repeat it for several weeks after if you wish, and when you're ready, move to the 2 day program. I'm with you...I like doing cardio first as well since it warms me up nicely and gets me motivated to do weights.

Thanks so much for your kind comment, Janet. I would recommend sticking with the last 3 weeks since the workouts gradually get more challenging. And yes, you can definitely increase the weights if you can manage it. That would be ideal (just make sure your form and technique are still correct). If need be, use heavier weights when you can and possibly do less reps when you feel it's becoming too challenging.

It depends on how many days a week you want to work out and how much time you have each time. My suggestion is to lump an upper and lower body workout together 3x a week and then add on cardio if you have time those days. On the other days, pick longer cardio workouts and ensure you do at least one interval training workout a week. In terms of which strength workouts you do, choose different ones each time to mix it up. I hope that helps!
