Do visit Arunachal after Nagaland, there's so much beauty & unexplored nature/culture in that state. I believe this is a great time 2 visit that gorgeous Himalayan paradise, which is gonna take a lot of ur time. Imo, u should spend d rest of ur trip exploring d stunning locations in AP like Tawang, Ziro, Mechuka, Dibang, Dong etc before returning home & when u come back u can explore d rest of NE before heading towards South India.

Hornbil festival is North East biggest festival as Assam Bihu is. It is now known by many peoples from outside NorthEast than before. Still we need to promote these precious tribes and their ethenics throughtout the whole India.

Go to Manipur as well. It's also a very beautiful state. It's known for its rich culture and sports and a leading state in NE. Its the birthplace of Polo and largest freshwater Loktak lake. Also known as home of Football in NE. You won't regret going there as well. You can come at Sangai festival next year if you can not come this time.

Fresh water snails and oysters are eaten by all over the Northeast states(Don't know about the Sikkim!). Not only in Nagaland. You should have try some crickets too. Love from Assam.

When you travel to Myanmar there are many ways to go to Myanmar from India. One great way is to go from imphal manipur to morey in Myanmar. Takes only 3 to 4hours. You should travel onward to combidia Laos Vietnam Thailand Malaysia and Singapore.
