LOVE the cartwheel, hiking, and stargazing goals! I used to be able to do a handstand before I had Alex, and I would love to be able to do that again. I would like to go for some short hikes with the kids, and maybe one or two longer ones just with Bill. I really miss camping...but can't foresee doing that until the kids are a little older. We actually took Alex on a huge road trip from Washington to Colorado and back for a family reunion when he was 4 months old. We actually spent some time in Wyoming on the way back and saw Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons...it's so beautiful! We took a picture of me nursing at the Grand Tetons just so we could say Alex nursed at the Grand Tetons. We're such dorks, I know, haha! ;) He was small enough then he would sleep anywhere and we had an amazing time even though it was a buttload of work with an infant. I am kind of mourning travel right now since Alex will NOT sleep anywhere but home.

Eat Pray Crunch Ooh a handstand. I was thinking about practicing that against a wall or something in my journey to the perfect cartwheel. We're going to take some pretty long trips this summer, so I'm hoping Ben sleeps most of the way. We're thinking about buying a rinky dink camper. We've always poo pooed people who had those sort of things, but it would allow us to camp with young kids. This kiddo gets cold hands if the house is 67...no way he can handle 40 degree nights up in the mountains.

***** Make a video?? What is this you speak of? I have been so slack about my channel lately, lol.

Your stargazing goal made me realize how helpful my craziness can be in the long run. Know it sounds silly but fitting a car seat was always a requirement for a vehicle for me even though we were under the impression that it wouldn't ever be needed. Now I'm glad that both our truck and trailblazer fit 6 -7 people. On that note I may have to make my own goal list because I feel I always waste the summers being a prisoner to my own mind.

MrsDDisch Yes, make a list! I have a pretty low success rate on my goals, but it's still way better than if I don't write them down. I forget, haha. Tristan bought his truck 10+ years ago when he was still in college. And it was our only car for a while, so we're actually lucky that we have a vehicle that fits a car seat and didn't have to scramble to buy one when we found out we were pregnant. :)

***** I don't think I've personally ever owned one that didn't fit a carseat but then again I always had kiddos around either childcare or family. You're right though it is lucky especially considering it's very hit and miss with vehicles around here. For our list we both tried to come up with 10, most of mine are baby prep things but I do have things like watching the sunrise, sunset, and stargazing, going on a picnic, having at least one adventure, etc. One of his that made me smile was have a date night once a month. We both want to get out of the house more on his days off I noticed. Lol

MrsDDisch Yes, definitely do date night! We just did simple things like having lazy mornings and watching netflix and eating pizza on a Friday night...but it was soo worth it!

***** We used to be very good about doing one once a weekish, where him and I just checked out from technology and everyone else but when I was working it dwindled to a stop. So we definitely agree that we need to get back to "no phone except emergency" date nights. Especially with as busy as life is about to get it is going to be important. Something not on the list but we're doing anyway is attempting at least one meal together at the table since I met my goal of clearing the clutter off it. Have you checked off any of your list yet?

MrsDDisch Kudos on cleaning up the table! The thing that drives me nuts about clutter is that in my house, it can go untouched for weeks. If clutter can remain in one place for weeks, why can't things stay clean for weeks? Argh, doesn't seem to work like that. Haven't gotten around to any items on my list yet. I've thought about looking up yoga poses that will help me with the perfect cartwheel...but haven't gotten around to doing the research yet. :)
