@THEULTIMATEGUIDETOSOAP
2 жыл бұрын
@@jerrellslay9214 You would recalculate using a soap calculator. Regular sunflower oil is higher in polyunsaturated fatty acids and is thus more prone to oxidation and rancidity, just something to keep in mind especially when using higher concentrations and increasing the risk of hydrolytic oxidation by using in a liquid soap solution!

Can you add mica to this. When and how, and will it tint the skin? When do i add my essential oils?
@THEULTIMATEGUIDETOSOAP
4 жыл бұрын
Mica is not water-soluble and will precipitate from the solution, forming a layer of "sludge" at the bottom. Keep in mind that one of the most fundamental differences between liquid and bar soap is the concentration of water. Essential oils can be added with an added emulsifier after the dilution process in liquid soap making. Ashley @ UG2SOAP

@THEULTIMATEGUIDETOSOAP
3 жыл бұрын
30HTLS additives are required for the 30HTLS No-Paste process. If you do not have sodium lactate, you can use sodium chloride; however, one or the other must be used. If you do not use the 30HTLS additives, you will have a standard paste recipe and process.

@THEULTIMATEGUIDETOSOAP

@@georginahunter7943 Again, this would depend on your COG. If you are buying bulk oils in wholesale prices, your cost of goods is going to be a lot less. If you are buying from local retailers or health food stores in small quantities, you are going to have a much higher cost. In general, the ingredients and additives for this recipe are not very expensive in the U.S. We recommend Soaper's Choice and WSP for bulk-size oils and cosmetic additives (like sodium lactate and glycerin) and grocery store items for as much as possible (think- sodium chloride, olive oil, coconut oil, lard, sunflower, etc.). I wish we could provide you with a more direct/exact answer, but it totally depends on what you are working with! -Eric @ UG2SOAP
