If that’s the car I think it is, it’s without doubt one of the craziest sleepers in the world. It was in hot rod magazine like 10 years ago, with all kinds of slick shit. The cage was built to sit as close to the roof and pillars as possible to stay out of view, rear seat was retained to hide the mini tub, carpet hiding the fact that the front and rear subframes were tied together, and the LS2 under the hood has twin Rotrex superchargers with the air to water intercoolers tucked in each fender, along with a dual fuel setup; one cell/pumps/injector set for regular 93, and a completely separate set of cell/pumps/injectors filled with CAM2 race fuel. This thing is nuts and put down 1100 at the time. Favorite nova ever.

There was a full article on this car about 15 years ago in Hot Rod or Car Craft. One of the legit street driven turbo/procharged LS sleepers with nearly 1000 hp when he adds race gas and turns up the boost.

Talk about confidence that man knew exactly what he had under the hood and didn’t prep to make a pull until right before the light changed.

Pretty interesting car. This car was featured in an episode of BIG MUSCLE. 1,200 hp and was on the Hotrod Power Tour. I'd drive it proudly. :)

This car shows up sometimes to car shows by my house. It’s an older build but very well done.

Funny you should say that. Whenever I hear the Boss singing "Racing in the Street", this is exactly the kind of car I picture.........

I can't wait to see my dad's running, he bought it in the 90's when he was high school and a few years after he graduated there was some bad wiring so the engine caught fire which luckily he was in his driveway so he got it out fast, but it's been on Jack stands for the last 20 years since he decided to fix all the other issues (the back left quarter had a THICK lair of bondo on it according to him so he cut it off a welded a new one on same with the trunk) and now it's a matter of money to build an engine, get new brake stuff, and plenty more body work.

Shame it'll get sold like that, and all you'll hear is about how amazing it was without experiencing it.

@@Aus78Formula we'll see, he doesn't plan on selling it and plans to pass it on to me, if he ever does decide to sell it though I'll be first one to place an offer.

I grew up in the 80s but in Princeton WV the only thing we did was cruise the main drag in town. Over , and over again. I saw many a muscle car , but especially novas and Camaros. Thanks for bringing back those memories!
