1tbsp coriander
1tbsp cumin seeds
3 pieces red chilli
Roast spices till they give out a strong aroma
2 tsp black salt
Grind these into a grainy mixture
100gm black lentils
Green chilli
Mint leaves
Coriander leaves
1 inch Ginger
Wash dal 3 times and soak for 4 hours
NOTE: Water taken should be
three times as much as dal taken
Churn into a fine paste
Beat the batter using the same
circular movement for 5 minutes
¼tsp baking soda
Chopped Cashews & Raisins
Cook at medium flame
Flip the baras after they have doubled in size
Fry till they're golden brown
300gm yoghurt
3 tbsp sugar
½tsp black salt
Beat the yogurt until a creamy texture is acquired
Gently squeeze some water out of the baras
Submerge the baras into the yogurt prepared for an hour
Garnish your dahi bara with
Pudina ki Chutney
Zeera Powder
Meethi Chutney

Your Dahi Bara is now ready to be relished
