In tears. My dad, uncles and their friends would hang out with their wives listening to this track and others like it (Fashola, Obey, Sunny, etc) in the 80s, over Harp, Trophy, palm wine and Christmas goat meat in our hometown, with my grandparents. My cousins and I were too "cool" for them ;) Now I can't get enough. Thanks, Groovemonzter. R.I.P., dad.

i love reading things like these - i love when people open up a little and share fond memories and i love youtube for letting me find these sweet little stories! i cannot understand the words of this music, but i understand and feel the inner richness of it and it really touches my heart, so i can very well understand when you are moved to tears - thank you so much for sharing, your words spice this fine music! and i hear you being too "cool" for them, i also was young once and now i keep catching myself having a completely different attitude towards certain things, haha - yep, let´s not be too "cool" anymore... :-) i send love and greetings from germany
