I heard this song randomly on the radio yesterday and it really motivated me to play when I was a bit unsure on what I was wanting to cover next. It's such a beautiful song but it's also got some great production and guitar parts too (thanks to Suzanne, Marc Shulman and Jon Gordon). If it wasn't released in '87 then it maybe wouldn't hook me as much but I'm glad it was, although I'm sure it would've been a hit whenever. I didn't add too much new guitar parts and decided to just mimic the solos but they have a certain Steve approach anyway, especially with how he did the Don't Shoot Shotgun solo. I had a lot of fun playing along and I hope you enjoy!
'Leppardized' is my way of adding interesting guitar parts to a song that has little to no guitar in it, in an attempt to make it more like the Hysteria era of Def Leppard. Although really it is just an excuse for me to play over pop. :)

I use a Jackson DK2 Dinky from 2004 (I removed the tone pot and moved the volume over) into a Boss Me50 (where I get my tone) into a Palmer Pdi-09 (which simulated a mic'd up cab) into a Focusrite Scarlett into my computer running Logic Pro X (where I add a little EQ and Reverb).

My headphones are purposely like that so the cable stays out the way.
I have a Patreon where I upload my notation notes for all my new covers and I am going through my old ones too. But I also provide custom notation and video lessons content there or at my bwmguitarlessons@gmail.com address. Please get in touch if you want help playing the music you love. / bwm5150
