Given that in a *modern* car (with stock engine) the difference between having a 100kg total driver and passenger and a 150kg total driver and passenger is very noticeable on the suspension, having 330kg of extra engine certainly will make a difference.....

Looking at it that way, true. But the simple fact is, 330 extra kg over those 2 little tiny tyres is a LOT of extra mass.... Certainly WAY over the safe loading limit of the tyres. That car would have a max payload of around 250kg. Therefore the engine would make it overweight even with NO driver and NO fuel!

what madness! with that engine it is not necessary to lower the suspension. I would put the battery in the trunk so that the weight distribution is 50%. And I would also make a small hole in the hood lid or it will not close. 😂😂

@@sed8181 😂😂i remember my dad telling me about their 51 chevy pickup having a crank you could put a handle on and start it. He said more times than not the handle would catch when the engine fired over and almost break your wrist, so they just got to where they would park it up on a hill when they were done with it so they could roll it and pop the clutch. The starter had gone out and they were too poor to afford a new one. They were farmers
