After Galveston I recommend getting a kick board to improve your kick technique with the swim. It will also encourage you to keep your hips up closer to the surface of the water which will help your kicks be more streamlined and not going in circles. My stroke looked similar when I started too. Just remember to keep your head down and that will raise your hips and help with your kick. That kick is not uncommon in men at all. You have a good stroke length but just try to rotate your shoulders a little more with each stroke for more extension. Overall it looks great for someone without a swimming background! You aren’t giving yourself enough credit 💪🏽 you got this!!

Good stuff Mason, i am strugling myself to find a good gym routine besides traithlon training. What kinda routine do you follow strenght/mobility wise?

If you primarily wanted to just lift I'd probably do Day 1 : chest, shoulders, triceps Day 2 : leg workout Day 3 : back & biceps Day 4 : run Day 5 : rest / stretching Repeat
