This was real country music. Not the crap that is called country today. He and K.T. Oslin were two underrated performers.

I started singing with Cowboy. His name is John Caruso. I was with him for many years. He asked me to marry him in January of 2016. August 4th we went to UVA which is the University of Virginia. They said he had cancer and he only had weeks or months to live. We decided not to use hospice that he would be with me until he died. He died a little less than 8 weeks later on September 29th at 11:15 in the morning. I thought I died too and the music stopped. You can see him on KZitem and me singing a couple songs with him. He won the East Coast music championship singer. He died before he ever had a chance to make it to the big time. You can see him on KZitem at: jcinstaunton.

I'm an 80's baby and I grew up loving the country music of the 60's 70's 80's and the 90's, the great ones like Alabama, The Judd's, Ronnie Milsap, Roy Orbison, Michael Martin Murphy, T. Graham Brown, T.G Shepherd, Mike Reed, (who was actually a professional football player before he quit from fear that he would hurt his piano playing hands), Eddie Raven, and Eddie Rabbit, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Glen Campbell, Billy Dean, Sawyer Brown, Toby Keith, Patty Loveless, Patsy Cline, Shelley West, John Denver, Lefty and David Frazelle, Hank Williams Jr, and of course his dad, the great Hank Williams Sr, Vince Gill, Mickey Gilley, Dan Seals, Joe Diffie, Brooks and Dunn, Holly Dunn, The Forester Sisters, Reba, Barbara Mandrel, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, The Statler Brothers, The Oak Ridge Boys, Garth Brooks, Kathy Mateah, Tonya Tucker, Pam Tillis, Dolly Parton, Keith Whitney, Lori Morgan, Earl Thomas Conley, Rosanne Cash, Rodney Crowell, The Highway Men! People, THIS is country music, the country music that I grew up with, not today's pop and cross over county. Please don't get me wrong, I do like today's county artists, but if you want real county music that comes from the heart and soul, listen to the songs we grew up with.

Ever wonder why country used to be good? All those ole singers grew up on farms or at least got drug to them with theyre folks to work, and they sang hyms everyday to get through it. Building soul and character. Now they grow up pampered.
