In her speech, she highlights how she was able to turn her life around using exercise, diet, sleep, and a change of mentality. She aspires to give hope to those who have also struggled and offer insights on how to improve the quality of life step by step. Towana, a junior at Canadian Academy, has a passion to advocate for mental health, as she personally faced struggle with depression.
