I love this cover because I picture the Daft Punk robots singing the vocals. Again, this is amazing. Loving it more and more with every listen.

Amazing bro! Could you teach us or give more details about how can we reproduce this at home? I'm a beginner in vocoders and really love to learn more about it!

Thanks, it’s just a basic sawtooth poly waveform vocoder patch.

This works just fine! I wish I could figure out exactly what vocoder he is using. Not sure if it was a Roland VP-9000 which is really just a sampler. Not sure he used a JD XI, but it definitely works. Cool man.

It's definitely the Roland VP-9000, you're right on! Essentially it just real-time pitches the sample to whatever keys you are holding down. You can achieve a similar effect with pitch correction, but it won't sound exact.

Cool! If you're looking other song to play with your vocoder, please try gorillaz - on melancholy hill ☺️
