Surprisingly I thought she would sound different then she does on OITNB , she sounds the same , and her personality is nothing like her characters she's soo shy and cute!

What's so annoying is they ask her a question and don't let her answer. Then they're all talking at once. I've never watched OITNB so I only know Taryn from the Cleveland Abduction movie. Chilling. She did a great job.

Hmm. At first, several thoughts on this. 1. Taryn Manning is beautiful/enjoyable to listen to. :). 2. Orange is the New Black...as a Christian, I found the "naked/sex" scenes a little too graphic for my...ah..."liking". However, that comes with the territory of watching that type of series. So, I digress. 3. Taking actors/actresses so seriously. I've heard multiple debates concerning this topic. On the one hand, one could say that they just "pretend" for a living. And, that they are VERY over paid. On the other hand, one could also say that they have a lot of "limelight" and therefore they influence young children. I know that I myself was influenced by actors when I was a child. However, that wore off for me. But others, like the Columbine high school shooters, Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris, actually claimed that they based their decisions in part on Natural Born Killers (a movie starring Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis). The debate goes on in this topic. Should graphic violence be depicted in cinema/television? Same can be said with "violent video games" (Mortal Kombat and Vice City). Personally, I believe that it depends on the individual. I played both games when I was a kid/teenager, and I didn't re-enact what I saw from them. I knew that it was just video games and FICTION. Now, back to movies/cinema/actors and actresses: I've watched Round Table Actors/Actresses videos on KZitem. They made valid points during their "discussions". And, as for actors and actresses not being taken "seriously": young children act like them and want to dress like them (particularly with pop stars like Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Taylor Swift). Heck, some ADULTS undergo plastic surgery to look like them. This is celebrity worship at its WORST. The television is partly to blame as well. As Kerry Washington said, "We're in their homes every Thursday/Friday night. It's an intimate thing.". Media is a powerful tool. One that needs to be used with CAUTION. Those are my thoughts on this. Peace.
