Every crash/collapse/recession provides an equal market opportunity if you are properly prepared and knowledgeable. I've seen people amass up to $800,000 during crises and even with ease in a bad economy. Someone has undoubtedly become extremely wealthy as a result of the crash.

Love the channel. It’s like the US companion channel to “Passive Income Investing” which is Canadian focused. A series on building a diversified portfolio targeting a 9-10 percent yield would be cool. I am taking 50k out of my traditional growth portfolio to seed a new monthly dividend income portfolio. Currently I am targeting 40-50 percent into equity ETFs like QYLD, RYLD, XYLD, JEPI, NUSI, and KBWD. 20-30 percent into REIT ETFs like SRET and KBWY. 10-20 percent into CEFs like UTF and PKO. The balance, maybe 5-10 percent into more risky but higher yielding things like ETNs such as GLDI, SLVO and REML. Probably a bunch of video ideas in there.

This is just the video I needed. Nuveen has some highly rated tax advantaged funds also, I believe they are the first company to start these type of closed end funds, with Biden's spending and tax increase plans, I am looking into these types of funds, I expect the tax increases will be coming for the middle class eventually. Great job and thanks, I will be subscribing!

SPY has tripled in value over the last 10 years and pays %1.38. Your initial investment would now be worth 3 times more than it would in EVN and the dividend payout would now be more even after taxes.

Question to All, let's say you put $500 into each of the three (EIM, PMX, EVN): 1. Is there a seperate tax for you have to fill out on your income taxes each year? 2. They are considered as a "Trust?" 3. How much can you invest in the 3, and still be "tax free?"

QQQJ, enjoy the long term growth and stomach the short term volatility and fluctuations. I know this channel is about dividends, but 10k isn't near enough to live off no matter how high of yields you chase. If you wanna live off dividends one day, and your available cash is 10k, You need to chase aggressive growth in order to have more money to do so. Look up the fund and make your own decision.

$10k needing to fund a ROTH IRA or just on hand? If on hand, I would put them into 7-11% yielding stocks, funds, etc. 50% Rorth IRA and 50% brokerage and have solid stocks paying you a lot in brokerage and sustainable in your Roth IRA. Make some $ work for you now to kill bills. I have different stocks in my ROTH IRA than in my brokerage. One pays me now, one pays me later.

Only if QYLD reaches a max distribution yield of like 1% in a month, they give out the extra as a return on capital. So very little of the dividends is return on capital. Check the prospectus for more details on this.

Yeah, but you will not be able to readily use all of it either (which is the whole point). You get taxed in a regular brokerage, BUT you can start paying off crap now.
