I loved this band when me and a bunch of friends used to see them regularly on a Friday night at a pub in Chiswick, London back in the early 1990's. When they were finished a load of us would go to the 'Castle Tavern' an underground bar in Shepherds Bush, London for a few hours. What a place, it was full of Kiwi's, Aussies and Saffa's (and a few of us Brits too), in the summer it was like a sauna down there and even our sweat had a 'head' on it..... Great, great days!!!

Great South African band, I was the drummer in my band at the time called 'Greyville Junction' and we were part of the line-up featuring eVoid at a concert in Kings Park stadium Durban in the 80's.

Seem to remember them in the late 1980's supporting Geno Washington at the S.Africa centre in convent Gardern and playing at the Mean Fiddler, Harlesden . Eric the 'R.o.t.ter' , Luciano with his home made electric guitar and female barefoot bass player. Had people dancing. Junk Jazz nites ☺

I still have my yellow plastic eVoid badge from 1983 tour! Is it me or am I the only one who gets an anti-apartheid inner meaning from Taximan and Shadows? ie: multi-racial relationship in Taximan (seen as taboo in the days of Apartheid) and an anti-apartheid new generation hiding in the Shadows, waiting to be seen/heard? ;)
