Lol im just realizing I've been putting the hook the other way, no wonder I was always scared shitless

A tip -- if you can't do a full situp from the bottom and you get stuck hanging upside down: (a) put both of your hands on one leg and assist yourself up towards a situp position, (b) when you're high enough, grab the bar with one hand, (c) pull with that hand and then grab the bar with your other hand. Now you should be able to get the hooks free and de-invert.

Dang it, I didn't notice it was Stevie Richards until the end. Man really glad to see he's doing well. And thanks for the review Stevie.

We had a setup thirty years ago with those, but I'm remembering the hook being at the back of the ankle, rather than the front. I'd generally do a pull up, then pivot and hook. Getting down was always a bit harder, because of doing the pivot and situp to grab the bar again. With some back issues right now, I'm looking at getting back (pun intended) into them.

Thanx for upload Mr. Stevie Richards! And, course, thanks for explaining, I´ve just tested Teeter, (it was my Christmas gift, uiuiiii, I´m so happy :-) ) I ♥ those shoes, I´m Construction worker (47 years old) and this is really amasing, I can feel the benefit of "spinal decompression", I just feel good, my Back is very grateful, This Thing is just amasing! I´m little bit angry I didn´t discovered this Product before... Merry Christmas Frohe Weihnachten aus Deutschland!

I find that the inversion boots are actually easier to strap on if you rest one leg on the opposite knee/upper thigh as when you cross your legs while sitting.

How did the last pair break? Were you inverted when it broke? I suppose the odds of both of them breaking at the same time would be minimal but it's your life on the line.

hey stevie thanks for the video! How is lifting on the carpet? Do you think it's worth it to lay down some plywood over the carpet for lifts such as squats and deadlifts?

I’ve since added gym flooring and it’s much better for lifting. While not completely flat, it feels better for my situation.

The fastening straps, keep an eye on the plastic condition, like a car's fanbelt. Cracks appear as they start to petrify. You don't want it failing upside down.

So I want to do this for my lower back as I want to fully decompress my back. I’ve tried a back arch thing before and when I try and come off it my whole back is just paralysed because it’s so decompressed. What would happen if my back was to do this while going upside down? Because I’m worried I won’t be able to get back down again!

Get an inversion table instead. Yes, they take up a lot more room, but it's much easier to flip yourself back upright.

They are plastic but they are very strong. I use them and I am 147 lbs. My son uses the boots also and he is 275 lbs. They hold just fine. It is hardened plastic and very thick.

Mine just arrived today 40 bucks, full metal and foam. Get a rope (gymnastic ring strap or thick rubber band) hang it from the bar on your side just in case. I could not get out from hanging witouth it. It's hard when your core is still weak.
