I love your work so much and thanks for sharing your knowledge! Just ignore this if you disagree, but in many images your foreground elements are often much darker in value to the really bright backgrounds. The bright highly saturated points in the background pull the eye really heavily off the narrative of the scene. It leaves a frustrating feeling of wanting to explore all the details of the scene but the eyes keep getting pulled away. It's the dominant visual aspect of the project but I don't think it's helping.

Shaun Martin you should probably consider prefacing comment like this with "I think that" "I believe that" "this is my opinion"...here's an example. I think that the obviously intentional darkening of the foreground juxtaposed the bright background elements help emphasize the silhouettes and makes the over all image more readable and the narrative more easily identifiable. Ignore if you disagree lol. What a thing to say to someone.

Did I miss the part where you explain why it's offensive?

Thanks for the feedback, Shaun! In my attempts to recreate Roger Deakins style silhouette shots, I can loose a lot of info. My personal priority when I make those images is the silhouette, and the details are meant to be secondary, but I see what you're saying. Always more to learn about balancing these things.
