The hole for the pipe being offset near the rear is smart as it gives you added surface area for cooking. Far better than being in the center near the rear.

We just bought one, it arrived today! Five days from Norway; impressive. Can't wait for the first burn. It was obscenely expensive but I'm betting we won't be sorry. Hot tented all last winter with our homemade tent stove but we wanted something more portable with ability to control the burn. It's part of our strategy for keeping our sanity during Covid so it's worth the investment.

Someone who doesn't want a stove with glass? I love watching the flames slowly eating away the wood, to provide the heat I'm feeling; not to mention the infrared heat it's spreading, especially in a reflective tent. I think it's a beautiful little stove, and perfect for nearly any tent, and I also love the spark arrestor setup, and the high quality damper. But yeah, a light weight stove, with glass: that's a winner. Thanks for the review. Stay safe out there and God bless!

You are right. Glass in that stove will never break. I have glass in my home wood-burning stove and it's been there for 20 years and it hasn't broke. If you use it properly, don't burn coal, it'll last forever. As far as bringing all the flashlights, yeah I bring three. I kind of live by having redundant equipment. One is none and two is one since I have three, I have two flashlights.

My winnerwell fastfold has that slight bow, it doesn't cause any problem. I took 10 inch from my flue to use as a brace around the fitted flue to top plate, it can free stand in the wind better but I always weight the flat stove feet down because the brace locks the flue so well the whole stove can move in heavy wind. Like the windows on this stove but I love the no fuss on mine. I would have probably bought this over my stove, the off centre flue is always good, but I bonded with my fastfold. Enjoy the stove.

Id really like if these guys would consider adding a chimney cap to this stove with some guy out points on it for stability, and to keep the weather out when not in use. Hi! I watched your video and it was super helpful before I set mine up. One thing I could not get right was inserting the chimney. I didn’t understand how you got yours to be secure. I tried to use the adjustable metal ring to cinch it tightly, but when the heat started rising from my fire, the thing heated up, deformed and fell off. The stove is so efficient and hot, it took an hour to finish burning off. Can you describe how you installed yours please? :( I really appreciate your videos! We purchased a Vevor 16.5 ft/5mm bell tent. I’ve been reaching wood stoves trying to determine what would be effective without going overboard with a stove that doesn’t fit well against the wall nor something that would be too small and not heat well enough. I also would rather limit having to constantly feed the stove. Our setup will be primarily for hunting season and we do plan to do a fair amount of cooking on the stove. Is there a particular stove you would recommend I take a look at? I’d appreciate your advice

1) I think panels with glass are supposed to be more resistant to warping, right? 2) In a video i saw many years ago the person used a handheld camping torch to pre-temper (pre-colour?) the metal. What is the size of the hole on top for the damper? I use an elbow for my stove so the pipe is on an angle for my tent design. Some stoves don’t have the same size or have the raised piece on top and don’t work for me. If the size works this is my new favorite design. I've just taken delivery of Nortent's Ultralight Titanium Stove and it's a different version to the you use in your video. The top and the base are made up of two halves and fixed together with a row of little nuts and screws. My initial impression on seeing this is I'm not happy. There are raised ⅜" joints, top and bottom internally that will get in the way when loading with logs or sticks and furthermore when clearing the ashes bottom raised joint will get in the way and will interrupt an attempt to drag the ashes out from the back of the stove. I can't see the benefit with this type of arrangement or modification even if it's to reduce warping. I'm disappointed to be fair. What do you think?

I wonder if the stove pipe had something to do with the defamation of the top during the video. As the wind buffeted the pipe it bulged the top up in the middle. Shortly thereafter the wind pushed the pipe toward the front pushing the bulge back down. I wonder if a slower first burn would decrease the amount of defamation to the body. Bringing the temp up slowly allowing the metal time to acclimate to the heat. What do you think? Have you tried it or heard anything about it? I can see were the 3 rib supports in the top and bottom would be beneficial in this regard. A plus or selling point for the Pomoly brand. Particularly the T1. Robust is best in my opinion. 1mm. You can't go wrong with that. Sorry, I didn't mean to stray from the stove at hand. ❤❇🏕🔥🥓
