@@QkSilver04GTO I can confirm your statement. I ordered mine and I totally understand why the sales numbers were so low. Coming from Australia they took forever to get here. I don't know the real story but considering how few choices you had with options, I believe they just had runs on certain colors with 17 inch and so many with 18inch, then switched colors and repeat. The one I ordered is orange with 18 inch but the wheels are slightly different than all the other 18 inch 06 wheels. They came on the car, unless they were switched somewhere between here and Australia? I don't know how to describe the difference but every 04-06 GTO fan, that really knows the cars, recognizes it and says "huh..I didn't know they put those on 06s".
@QkSilver04GTO

@@justanobserver530 For 2004, your only option was transmission choice and color combo. For 05 and 06 it was trans, color and wheels, 17” or 18”. 2006 cars got a couple other niceties such as the power door lock switch in the center console and the black tail lights. The steering wheel buttons also light up. I think the 05 buttons did too, but definitely not 2004 cars. I have read about the 2004 flat hood being an option for the later cars but I can’t confirm that. All of the SAP parts were dealer purchased pieces as none came from Holden that way. Shipping from Australia to the local Pontiac dealer did take a while. They came into Port on the West Coast and were trucked and/or trained accordingly. I’d like to see a pic of the wheels you got on your GTO. I have the stock 18s on my 2004.

The 2004-2006 GTO's are fairly rare. The Austrailian Company Holden changed the front bumpers headlights and stuck tge GTO badge on it. Also, a big block V-8 under the hood made lots of power. I can't remember if there was a version with essentially a 427 big block or did Holden only do that with the later 4 door version? These are great, comfortable, reliable drivers that just eat up the miles. As long as it's been regularly serviced I'd have no issues buying this one.
