Nice, those are some decent gains from just a tune.

Car sounds awesome. How did you find the RR racing tune? I'm in Sydney myself and was checking their site but was unsure to get it or not. is it easy enough to plug and play or was it a headache ? Thanks man

KJ Gixxerlife the RR tune is good but with the engine being naturally aspirated the gains are not as big as you would see with a turbocharged or supercharged engine. Looking at my dyno printout, the car gained about 10-12kw all through the rev range from 2,000-6,000rpm. Above 6,000rpm the stock tune kills off the power whereas with the RR Tune the engine keeps making power all the way to redline. As for loading the tune on - it's pretty basic. You receive the hand control unit from RR Racing, connect it to your car and download a copy of the stock ECU file. You then transfer this file from the hand control to your laptop via a cable and software that RR provides. You send that file to RR Racing via email along with your car details (all instructions are provided). The next day RR Racing will send you a new modified file. You load this onto the hand control via the cable and software on your laptop, then connect it to the car and load it onto the car. Your car will then have the modified ECU file on it. You can also use the hand control to put the ECU file back to standard if you want, and also it can be used to read and trouble codes (check engine lights etc). So the hand control is handy to keep in the glovebox.

@@LucasVWGolfR so it seems like it would be a good thing to try out so I might do it now. Thanks for your feed back, much appreciated

355whp? from gutted cats exhaust and tune?

Oscar El yes but this is Australia where dyno’s are actually quite accurate. In USA the same car would have 40,000hp.

Mark Shaw just BP Ultimate 98 normally but did experiment for a short while with adding 10L of E85 which made the engine a bit more eager and responsive.

@@LucasVWGolfR I have had the tune carried out on my car, along with getting the primary cats gutted. Checked on the dyno after 10km of driving and it made less power then a stock one. Maybe because the KCLV was only at 18 at the time? Or do I need a full exhaust and upgraded air filter to see any gains? The tune seems really rich

Shaan Patel low compared to anything in USA with their happy dynos. This is a Mainline dyno, a well regarded Australian dyno brand.
