He recorded the album ''Arc of a Diver'' in a home studio he built on his farm, singing and playing all the instruments - keyboards, guitar, bass, drums, and writing all the music. ✌️

Winwood played every instrument on this album. He's very well rounded, musically.

Don't know if you have already reacted to "Roll with it" by Steve Winwood, but if not, after you do, you will be very pleased you did. Thanks, JMBOY

Steve Winwood is a straight-up genius, and this song is as good evidence of that as anything he's recorded in his long and glittering career. His guitar playing on Night Train is next level, his basslines are almost as good, the keyboard work is as on-point as you'd expect - even his drumming is pretty darn impressive. His singing is of course magisterial. The words aren't that great, but then again, he didn't write them. Maybe he should have done...

@@codjh9Yes! While You See A Chance and Dust are great too. Actually so are Slowdown Sundown and Spanish Dancer. The only song that I could happily dispense with is Second Hand Woman.

You're out on a long straight road. You put on this song, set the cruise control to 85 and just let it ride. Best road song ever!!!

I assumed at first that Stevie had done a version of the James Brown classic but on this song his vocal sounds a bit like Phil Collins...

Steve Winwood is similar to my friend "ZOV" in making music, he does it all mostly by himself, and it's all real good stuff.

One of my all time fav songs. I was afraid you would stop it and skip the outro jam but you didn’t. I must compliment you for not stopping the song ewery 20 seconds, that to me is no way to listen to music. I have a suggestion for you that you might like, John Miles - Stranger in the city.
