Fornication/shacking up is what’s delaying a lot of marriages! If people are getting their needs met without marriage, there would be no incentive for people to get married.

I'm definitely single and happy. I don't care if i ever have sex again. I was married, my kids are adults so I have made my contribution to society and marriage. There is no peace on earth like being single and celibate. When your peace comes from Yah circumstances don't matter. You definitely have more time to give to God (Yah)

Singleness is a very important part of life. This means your only focus SHOULD be on GOD. It’s sad to say, most people, men and women, who are in adulthood are NOT working on their personal self development. They will continue to go through things and be “of the world” until they reach a point when they know that they MUST change. We have to continue to train our minds to think differently, in a positive and productive way that is pleasing to THE MOST HIGH GOD🙏🏽 Let’s continue to pray for one another 🙏🏽❤️ GOD BLESS

I agree but I think the whole “singleness” thing is important to highlight because there’s an unhealthy obsession with marriage and relationships today, especially in the church. It’s become an idol. But there is no bible to support that kind of “obsession” because as you mentioned, Paul said it’s better to be single but if you want to get married it’s okay but Ofc you need to be pure in whatever you decide to do or whatever stage of life you’re at. When Paul wrote what he wrote, he wrote it to *believers* . When Jesus explained marriage to one of his disciples in Matthew 19:1-11, one of the disciples said “if this is the situation between a husband and wife it’s better to not marry” then Jesus replied in verse 11 and said “not, everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given”. The issue is people need to be living in purity and stop lying to themselves. You’re correct, everyone is not called to be single but some are. We all need to choose our spouse with wisdom because outside of sexual immorality, that bible verse doesn’t even permit divorce. But people are divorcing today because they “grew apart” lol Let the Holy Spirit guard our decision making 🙏🏾 don’t idolise a man or woman.

This is so true, people use that text to keep the people of God in singleness. But I truly believe that it’s Gods plan for us to be in marriage. You are correct when you talked about how if we are going to live that singleness live style it is a life truly devoted to God and his work. Thank you for breaking it down!

As a single woman (twice divorced), I can tell you it’s better to be single and alone than married and alone. However, as much as I enjoy being single, I do long for a good man who will be a good father and good husband and good partner for life. I long for that. I don’t get lonely often but when I do I really feel it. Both being single and being married has its pros and cons

So disappointing that the majority of grown boys are trying to find a justification for singleness in order to avoid maturing. It takes introspection, discipline, etc to become a good father/ husband. Too many aren’t ready and willing to put their selfishness aside.

Tony, please do a video on gaslighting. How to combat gaslighting in a relationship. Sometimes it feels overwhelming when the person you love constantly calls you crazy simply to avoid taking any accountability. It's like he is scared to be seen as imperfect. Every conflict turns into the same gaslighting and ghosting. It's exhausting trying to communicate with a man who cannot seem to validate any of your feelings or concerns. Is there any hope for turning a relationship around with a gaslighter or is it a dead end like a narcissist? P.s. I am not one of those women who is desperate to stay with a man. We have actually been broken up for almost 3 years however he continues to text me and try to see me. I have consistently refused to see him because I don't see any change. He is a great man but there is something keeping him from acquiring the tools he needs to be able to resolve conflict. I think he has abandonment issues and he uses ghosting as a weapon to hurt others because he is still hurting. I pray for him however I will not allow him or any man to constantly invalidate my feelings to avoid there own insecurities. Sorry for the dissertation... 😂

Appreciate that TG is so real about marriage. Makes me wonder if I should just continue my single life and enjoy it. I'm having a good time single so maybe it's meant for me to stay that way. I get to come and go as I please. I can travel and do my own itinerary. My money is saved, invested, and spent how I want, when I want. I get space, peace, and quiet. I had 3 beautiful, perfect cats, and I treated them like gold. But I decided not to get more cats because it was a responsibility - time, money, and energy. It may sound selfish but that seems really good to me. 😮

Jesus was not married. Godly wisdom is profitable to everyone no matter how old you are. Older men(People )should be wise but some prove not to be As Elihu respectful corrected the elders in the book of Job. Listen to Godly wisdom whether it's coming from the young or old. Don't decide to not listen to someone because of age , if they're talking foolishness that's a different story. If we know everything and don't listen then that's a problem also. We should have Selah moments.🤔
