Thank you! I'm hoping to blow up soon. Been thinking about it a lot lately and want to see it expand. I'm sure baseball season it will be much better. As of now, I will try and post 3 times a week...as I have been for the last few weeks

Never seen the catch drill before. I like how simple it is but can really see the positives and flaws during the process. Good overall vid💪🏾

Yea I pitched from little league to highschool and I also played travel baseball at age 13 and was coached by those who played pro or college. I also was being scouted by the Florida Marlins which now is the Miami Marlins at one point. But my playing days are over and now I'm wanting to start doing baseball lessons but I'm kind of new at this on how to get that started. I can teach anything from hitting to pitching at any age but I like those drills that you were using. Because I'm trying to think of as many drills that I can use to help them with whatever that they are struggling with

Thanks for the tips! I have 6yr old struggling to hit has been going to hitting lessons once a week for last 3 months and it is not translating to success during games. I want to try the hand catch drill with him. How do you feel about this. Instead of tossing it to him how about having him grab it off the tee.

My teenager (13) uses a -3 bbcor bat in games. For the one hand drills it looks like your student sizes the bat down significantly so he can control the bat/barrel. Will any old short/light bat do? Thanks for the channel.

Hey Jim, Thanks for reaching out. Yes, you could use a one-hand bat that you can buy on Amazon. Or, buy a little kids little league bat as a 1 handed bat. And depending on how strong your son is, you could choke up to about half your regular bat and use that. I don't do that because most kids struggle with it. These would be the 3 options I would recommend. Can you try it and keep me updated?

So I know from past videos you knew Tony Gwynn, I was just curious what’s the major difference, but I see you seem to use the top hand for a guide hand while tony emphasized using the bottom, I’ve tried both and the top hand guide seems to be more effective, but I was just wondering what your opinion is

Yeah, I used to use the bottom hand but changed when I started hitting with Barry Bonds. I just was more consistent and started driving the ball more and it really was from the top hand powering through it.
