How often do you do core? I’ve been doing 3-4x a week.

Great video! Can you do these before football practice or Will they affect your performance on the pitch in some way?

Do them either a while before practice or after because this is a workout, so therefore your core will be tired before playing. I would suggest doing these maybe a little if your core feels tight to stretch your muscles

Hey guys, I'm a 14 year old kid from the U.S and I need help tryna figure something out. So far, I'm been training as much as I can during the week but it's been hard without my parent's support. Every time I ask to go to the field to practice individually (my local field is open) they just respond with "there's no reason in going, do you just want to waste your time?" My mom is only letting me go about 3x a week, but I feel like I can improve way faster if she let me go nearly everyday (I go in the mornings). I'm pretty sure if there was a trial with a really good team 30 min away, they wouldn't make the sacrifice to drive me there because it's a "waste of time". I've explained numerous times to them that by training everyday, I would become better and get a good chance at getting to the professional level. They don't understand anything about grinding your ass off to achieve something, but other parents encourage their kids to become the best they can be. They have no passion for soccer whatsoever, therefore they don't believe in the dream of making it pro. They basically hate soccer. What should I do? Should I just not listen to them and sneak out to the field every morning, regardless of them not letting me?

I would explain to ur parents that u would like to try all that u can rn and that it is ur dream and everything. Try to negotiate tell them u will still do good in school and that soccer will keep u in shape and healthy. If all doesn't go well it's up to u whether u should sneak out or not 👍hope this helps, im also a 14 yr old trying go pro to in the US👍👍👍

For the alternating jackknives, is 1 rep every reach to the foot ? Or is 1 rep once you reach to both feet and another rep is once you reach both feet once again

should these be done back to back like a circuit? or done slow with focus and optimal rest time in between sets/exercises? are both good either way?
@StefanMuellerMP

These exercises can be done back to back or broken up throughout the week. Doing 3 sets each of 2 or 3 exercises at the end of a workout is beneficial too. But the most important thing is consistency. Whatever you choose to do just be consistent with it

Very informative, thanks for the video. Two quick questions Stefan 1. can I do these core exercises on the same day I do soccer practice? 2.Can I do these core exercises on consecutive days,or do I give a day gap, i.e mon, Tues,wed Or Mon,wed,Fri
