This is why many parts of Japan is so silly. From their wagyu to their fruits, they have insanely expensive stuff. Don't get the wrong the quality is there but people will act like it's the next coming of Jesus just to justify spending $200 for a bunch of grapes of $120 for a few slices fat with a little bit of meat in between, although france is sort of guilty of something similar like with macrons and other fine foods but definitely not to the extent with Japan, and Frances cuisine is leagues better than Japanes.

I've watched a documentary about that grapes, not to mention that most of these fruits are grown in Japan. The process of growing that grapes is already tedious. These particular grapes are individually monitored in the vines by the Japanese farmers. Just like what the narrator said, they are chosen by their weight and sugar contents. Even the sunlight are measured by the farmers to perfectly achieve the size and the amount of sweetness in every grape. That's why its expensive.
