God bless you sir or madam.... this song has been #1 on my to find list since Napster was first created. This, I believe, is it's first appearance. All their other songs have been available in one form or another for awhile... They were form South Florida and were originally know as the Ardells, and, after charting in S. Fla a couple of times as the American Beetles, the would chart semi-nationally as The Razor's Edge with "Let's Call It A Day Girl"... Again, thanky, thanky, thanky...

I actually bought this record when it was out. I thought (and still think) it's a good (fake British Invasion) record. If they didn't go for the cheap "American Beetles" name they might have done something with this.

Gracias.

I could see the Ramones performing an edgier cover of this. It’s not bad.

The title actually makes me think of an Elvis song, "Don't be Cruel".

More soulful than today's hollow tributes and a decent song in its own write. Solo by Sterling Morrison (joke).

It IS Mandela! I am old; I saw Beatles on Sullivan, that's all we talked about next day in school. I know every band of Brit. invasion post Beatles & in U.S. No way! This is like Village People, also on A.B. with extra guy: Military Man! See Oz: in new scene when Scarecrow pulls out a GUN, Tinman has a Wrench & Lion a Bug-Sprayer. Don't remember? It's there now! Ya know how many lawsuits there'd be: U.S. Beetles? I guess they had a beet on record label instead of an apple? Hey, that's a good 1.
