I bought one strictly to monitor a dmr channel in my area . Will never transmit. Using this radio . It fits the bill for me

How much power can your scope handle? That dang Feng lit up the scope like an Xmas tree!😮

That's coming off an RF tap - no worries, that tap is -40db. If you're talkin about the super cool awesome thumbnail on the video - that's a stock photo. FWIW - i'm always gonna have an attenuator or tap before the input on the spectrum analyzer (this gadget above), because it is not designed to handle a lot of power. I don't remember the max input off the top of my head (maybe 20 db??) but it ain't much. "When you radiate, you must attenuate!" (I just made that up - catchy, ain't it??) Thanks for watching!

@@FEPLabsRadio haha, thanks for the info Jim. Yes, that's catchy, you need a sticker made up for that.😄👍

It is kinda depressing to actually see how shitty some of these radios are.

Supratik, I don't have one of those radios. All the ones I have tested are radios that I purchased, with the exception of the GRZ-1 which was loaned to me by @Temporarily Offline. I would love to test more radios this way, but no practical way to do it, unless someone loaned me one to test with. Thank you for watching!
