This is actually a great performance overall! Some great vocal work from the guys here.

I get such a kick out of the Napoleon Dynamite bassist. I’ve definitely been told his real name before but he’ll always be Napoleon to me.

He's so nice. I got to meet him when I saw Al Jardine's band yesterday. Massive sweetheart and a Beach Boys legend too

I always cackle around the 20 min mark when brian stops singing and al angrily and badly takes over for the lead part lmao. His falsetto 😂 I've never seen a guy singing such a happy song like "wouldn't it be nice" and look so angry at the same time

It really is a highlight. No one gets visibly annoyed on stage by their bandmates like The Beach Boys ❤️

There was some sort of thing with him and Brian on WIBN. In 1977 Brian started taking the lead on it again but wouldn't sing all the lines, and Al didn't save him. In 1980 he started trying to convince Brian to sing it with him, under the guise he didn't know the words. At the 1980 Hampton VA show Brian totally cops out and Al intentionally goofs the words and asks him "is that right?" with a laugh.

Dennis at 5:30, clearly intoxicated with a shirt that says Head, no double entre meant I'm sure ;), talking into the mic and soon met with Mike Love ready with a word and Carl ready to break it up. That's America's Band if there ever was one. :)

Lots of tomfoolery happening here. Clearly a bad time for all. Notice, for instance, Bruce intentionally screeching his falsetto part while Jeff Foskett sings Warmth of the Sun. You can find tension between them in many performances, up to recently.

It's up and down with him. He looked his best in the "Beardy Era" of the late 60s - 70s. In recent years he seems to have lost a lot weight and looks quite frail, even though his voice is still relatively strong.
