Please react to BEE GEES 1960. Notice Barry’s frayed rope guitar strap. He stated playing the guitar at age 9, and played so much his hands are now deformed, but he still plays. He’s left handed and plays in open D tuning.

Amazing....Da hört man das alle 3 Brüder unterschiedlich mit ihren Stimmen jonglieren können. 🕺🥰👍

There are no words to describe how incredible these 3 brothers were !! I’d need hours to go through their songs ! So I’ll put it this way 9 number 1 hits !! And countless others that easily could have been number 1 !

Barry started playing guitar when he was @9 and the twins were @5. MO’s playing bass here, but also played many other instruments. Midnight Special was on every Friday at midnight. Sometimes the audience would sit, stand, dance. There are some videos of the BeeGees performing as small children. From 1960 (Time is Passing By) and many from 1963-65. My favorite is the “Medley”. They’re SO little, but very talented. Thanks!

Maurice provided the falsetto for this song during the live performance. This allowed Barry to continue singing in his normal voice. On the studio recording, Barry provided the falsetto.

Their harmonies were the kind that only brothers could do...This brings back so many memories for me, I was a teen in the 70's, what a time to be alive.

Perfect live-performance, that one. Clear to see and hear, they were a sensation! Check'em out with 'Wind Of Change', live at their Spirits-tour in 1979.

That was the first song that they used their high voices in. And Maurice on the left, did the high notes at the end that Barry did on the studio recording. Maurice was a great bass player and keyboardist , and also wrote most of the music for their songs. I bought the Rickenbacker in my photo just because he played one just like it on the ‘Jive Talkin’ video.

Set set for the Midnight Special had 3 or 4 stages and no chairs. That way the audience could turn and face whatever stage was being used at the time.

Mo plays the piano killer bass and all kinds of different instruments like drums. He never really wanted to take the lead because he was the more interested in the instruments. Most underrated Bee Gee and probably the most talented.

You just noticed that Barry plays guitar? Here's a fun fact for you, Barry is left handed but the guy that taught him was right, he couldn't show Barry how to do it left handed so Barry had to learn to play right handed. Now mix that in with what you said about playing guitar and singing like he does ;)

Thanks, 17.. I know that this is 70's goofy to you.. (they all played instruments.. especially Maurice... the least known bro on bass and keys sometimes) my favorite has always been Robin.. sad fashion choices.. but the most unique voice, IMHO.. this entire band of brothers were amazing... incredible how much they are in synch... no better harmonies than among family... (p.s. although Barry was the oldest, and usual the leader, any one of those boys could hit any of those falsetto notes any day of the week.. check out Maurice, playing bass hitting those high notes towards the end)... appreciate your reaction!

Please react to Country Lanes ( not a country song); I Cant See Nobody; Tomorrow, Tomorrow; Love So Right, Alone, Reaching Out, Baby As You Turn Away, Morning of My Life, Wind of Change, Edge of the Universe...... so many hits!
