Thank you for revealed wonder of Gotukola. Without knowing such immense benefits we just had herbal Gotukola in each plate in my little age because I love the taste of the scraped coconut mixed salad of Gotukola. We had a home garden with natural growth of it. Under the dried coconut leaves it grows very well. The poisonous chemicals added to the farmlands was the main threat for the natural growth of this wonderful plant in Sri Lankan lands. Anyway, I was able to gain academic achievement without much efforts. There is no doubt of the influence of Gotukola. Thanks to my loving mom, still growing Gotukola by her self in their home garden for our kids.

Oh, I'm so glad you've done this one. I've been supplementing Gotu Kola, on-and-off for quite some time and have felt that my mind, which has been extremely stressed, has sharpened up and the anxiety levels have decreased. Frankly, I'm nearer to my old self, though possibly, potentially better. It is advised that there is a break period from supplementation, which I've followed. I take a course of it, then drop it for about a month. Also, I'm hoping to grow it and looking for the best way. Gotu Kola - Centilla Asiatica or Manduckaparni - is hardy to zone 7. Considering I'm in East Anglia, I'll have to experiment a bit and see how and where it takes. Having Asperger's Syndrome, it appears to have been some benefit in that my communicative abilities seem to have improved, the nervous problems have diminished. It is also recommended for wound healing. It is said to improve the circulation to the skin. As I also have X-Linked Ichthyosis, an inherited complaint, I am looking into this as the skin is easily cracked, especially in winter.

'Gotu Kola' is a Sri Lankan sinhalese name for a cup shaped leaf with a long stem. There are at least two varieties found in Sri. 'Gotu' refers to cup shape and 'kola' means leaves and it grows abundantly here in Sri Lanka and was known to be bestowed with numerous health benefits. Usually the leaves are eaten raw, chopped into smaller pieces and mixed with chopped onions, scraped coconut, salt solution and lime added to taste. Gotu kola had been in the Sri Lankan menu for thousands of years.

I kid you not, when I use Brahmi my cognition improves immediately. It's not bad tasting so I make a tea with the powder and drink that. It's very soothing. Great to drink before work or even before bed.

January of this year, I recovered from Covid, but then it attacked my liver, kidneys, lungs (pneumonia), got Sepis from the 13 days in the hospital and C19 also attacked my Rheumatoid Arthritis as it went into Vasculitis. I wanted to ask what effect this supplement(s) would be for the Vasculitis, and I feel my heart was damaged as I struggle if I bend over too long as well. Thanks you Dr Berg for another great research piece!!

I like your videos because they are very informative. Gotu Kola has been used in India for thousands of years particularly by sages. It enhances deep thinking needed to connect with God. Ayurvedic texts have extensively described its properties many thousands years ago. I wonder why there is no reference to it in your video. This is the first time I am hearing Indonesia and Gotu Kola connection. It is possible that many herbs were introduced to other parts of thw world during Buddhist period.

I took the suggested 2 capsules from Nature's Way brand 950mg at dinnertime. Most things don't prevent me from sleeping, this did! Highly stimulating. I found that 1/4 of that was enough to relieve pain I thought connected to veins that turned out to be nerve and/or muscle pain. It definitely did increase circulation though.

Dr Berg: I love your videos. If you make new videos, for each supplement Please include if you should take in AM or PM & if you take each long term or only for short term. Those of us who take multiple (multiple!) stacks would appreciate to know if each is a forever supplement or short term. Thank You Dr Berg.
