Bird was the only player I've seen who could make the ball arc and spin in mid air when he shot it. He also made spin passes where the ball would bounce and curve right into the players hands for an easy bucket. The guy was totally unique infall facets of the game. Great reaction as always bro.

Larry was in the top ten in MVP voting every year in the 80s except for the season he missed for surgery. Three consecutive second place finishes then three consecutive wins. 4th his rookie year. The only Rookie of the year, MVP, MVP of the playoffs, MVP in the finals, coach of the year and executive of the year. Pretty good resume 😅

@@itzkhiiii me too but he played 7 years with his bad back, still drove for loose balls and put up his stats, actually played 12 seasons, missed one for double Achilles heels surgery, made the All Star team 12 times including coming back from the double surgery. founding father of the 50 40 90 club and had a 4 year span where he averaged 50 40 90 in his prime years. it would take too long to list his resume.

I think you have to consider Bill Russell for that top 5 list. 13 years in the NBA, 11 championships. For a team that had never even gotten to the finals before his rookie season. Then after winning his 11th title and retiring, the Celtics' next year they went 34-48 and missed the playoffs entirely.
@itzkhiiii
5 ай бұрын
Well i don’t put him up there because he does not have a finals mvp despite the 11 chips,and in order to be in the conversation you got to be solid offensively and defensively,but he is top 10 for sure

Larry Bird didn't have a 3 point line in college like his Brother Eddie had in his career. And most of Larry Bird shots are from outside. So add at least 150 points to Larry Bird. And I'm sure that's on the low side.

Michael held out his hands, and Larry fired the ball back down to the college end over Jordan's head.

Too early to say if Mo Bamba is a bust. He's only 25. Jordan didn't win a championship until his age 27 season, so it's entirely possible Mo Bamba will improve to a reliable starter, which is probably the point where I'd say you're not a bust at #6.
