Thanks to Jay and his videos I have bought Carli Leveling Kit for 2015 Ram 2500 HD with Radius Arms, Torsion Sway Bar, Track Bar, Radius Arm Drop Brackets. I loved it so much I wanted MORE! Installing this week the Carli Backcountry with Fox External Reservoirs and two weeks from now I am removing a AEV 3" Dualsport SC kit (GARBAGE) on my brothers 2016 Ram 2500 HD and installing the Carli Pintop Kit with King shocks. Jay is the real deal guys, I started my builds after watching his videos to learn what to do, how to do it right and can't thank Jay enough for his videos as he is honest and his opinion is real, one that we can all relate to! I also order my parts from CJC Offroad and the are the best!

I want to clear something up to the people watching this. Putting a strut spacer or a performance adjustable strut that is longer than factory will chance the angle of the joints in your suspension. So the only difference between a strut spacer and a performance strut is the ride quality. What makes a good vs bad lift/level is anything over a factory height needs to be accommodated by a longer control arm. This makes it where the angle of the pivot points in your suspension stay the same. Also remember to get a allotment after adjusting anything on your suspension. Doing this will make your tires wear properly, your truck drive like it should, and your suspension lasting for the long haul!

Had Fox 2.0 Coils and rear shocks on my 15' F150 loved them. I think most people stand to benefit a lot from that shock setup and it comes at a pretty reasonable around $1k price tag for all corners. Really only need to go beyond that if you just want to brag about something or plan to regularly put them to work off pavement. Going to run the Fox 2.0 on my Ram as well. King is good shit too but it is my opinion that you should regularly play off-road at higher speeds to get the most out of the more robust king setup shown here. I have a Jeep I spend more time off road with. Fox also makes more robust options than the 2.0 shown as does ICON suspension. There are some really nice options out there for more trucks.

This may be a dumb question...how are the longer coil overs any different from spacers in how they affect the geometry of the front end? They are both adding 2 inches of distance in between the upper and lower mounts. I understand that a coil over is going to be a higher quality option than a spacer on top of the factory strut, I just don’t see how they are any better in terms of geometry.

@@--emt I decided to pass on the 5100's in the front for the reason of stiffening the ride. Other kits that include a new spring typically ride better. I did the rear first since I tow a lot my truck was sagged out while loaded. I did 5100's in the back with TufTruck springs to reduce squat under load. Huge difference! A few weeks later the 6112 kit came. Built it with new OEM parts that are not included so I didn't have to disassemble my OEM struts. I also did Zone UCA's at the same time for piece of mind since the stock ones are plastic. The ride is unbelievable; I have it set to #6 so I believe if memory serves it's just over two inches higher in the front. There is also a 3/4 puck in the rear so I maintained rake for towing. I also did a Helwig sway bar in the rear with Carli sway bar end links, again another drastic improvement in handling. I'm glad I did it over the course of a month so I could feel each change. It's winter here, and with this setup along with winter tires my truck feels amazing. It's not the highest or the biggest but it rides smooth, there is no rattles or bangs. Speed bumps are now a joke. I am glad I used quality components and didn't skimp anywhere.

@@DF-et4gs what about street driving I don't off road or rock crawl I do all highway and town driving do I really need the 6112 ? I was researching the 4600 and 5100 are the same inside but one is for lifted applications. I just want to level it and I don't tow anything I have the airbags in the back already. Have 30k miles on my truck bought it from a old guy . I want the smoothest factory ride for my highway and street applications. I will be putting the sway bar upgrade and front steering stabilizers also UCA but the 2017 rams aren't plastic they did that 2019 I bleive to save weight if I go up 2" especially from the lift coming from the strut itself and not a puck I think the UCA will be OK but I'll do that if I need it but what you set up if you had my application what do you recommend don't want stiff ride .

Can you use the factory upper control arms with the kings 2.5?
@brianhammond2560

Just curious though. RC offers the leveling kit that comes with the upper control arms to correct the geometry. They offer the extended struts that eliminate the spacers and rear shocks for just over $800. The kit in your video offers the struts with springs, beefier sway bar links, for over $1800 and I don't even know yet what theyre getting for the upper control arms. Kind of scared to ask. $500 for the pair? I'm guessing. Is it $1500 better? Just seems pricey but I"M still shopping. Havent ruled out this kit but I am curious about the cost of the upper control arms for a 2015 ram 1500 4x4

@@JayFlatOut What about it?? You said The perfect way to lift or level your Ram 1500 Hemi or Ecodiesel you've come to right place. I was wondering if there was a reason the v6 Pentastar was not mentioned for some reason. I'am looking to buy a level kit.

Just purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 2wd new body style and I plan to put on a 2.5 front leveling kit with 35x12.5 tires on 18x9 wheels! Does anyone have any knowledge as to if this would cause any rubbing? If so what can be done to combat that issue? Also, will I absolutely need to purchase to control arms? And why? (First time truck buyer & first time dealing with large wheels/tires and any type of leveling kit)

I finally broke down and bought a 2019 Ram 4WD, with the Hemi. My wife and I do a lot of desert exploring, in AZ. I could use a level. My factory shocks are ok... but at times I have to crawl on some of the roads. Does the King have a ride adjustment?

My 2014 1500 came stock with a suspension kit, it has three settings. The problem is when traveling over 35mph it lowers back down. I can easily by pass it, but not sure if it's advised. Would love to know if I can just keep it lifted, or do I need to lift it then have an alignment done?
