Great video! I kept making the same mistake of importing as SVG as Grease Pencil rather than Scalable Vector Graphics

Good tutoraial! It would be more useful if the floating head didn't block some settings :)

Thanks a lot for your effective technique! I’m glad that separating texture by pieces is as simple as I thought it should be. However I didn’t catch what should you do with the image so it fits perfectly by its scale and doesn’t look zoomed in or zoomed out within the puzzles. Is it enough to just match the aspect ratio of the puzzle with the image?

If the aspect ratio matches, then the method of unwrapping the UVs from the top view with "Project from view (bounds)" should ensure that your image entirely fills the puzzle :)

Great tutorial! For some reason I cannot add the bevels. I think it's because when I convert the pieces to mesh then I can see nodes around pieces are kinda connected diagonally and maybe it's created duplicate verticies. Not sure. Have you encountered this issue?

It you ca try selecting everything and press m to try and merge by distance to remove duplicate vertices!

If you have 3 materials like me, in the materials tab of the solidify modifier, Material offset is 1 and rim is 2, which is pretty standard for such modifier
