What these people are alluding to is that the BW effect basically highlights BM failure.

@@MrMakemusicmike and we are the most educated people in America and the most read person in America, fastest growing business owners and homeowners. What’s y’all literacy rate as a collective? 🧐. Don’t y’all cost the American Govt $50billion per year? For the lil statistic about evictions: BW who do get evicted do so mostly b/c of dealing with a BM. Why aren’t y’all leveling up as a collective? The fact that you have to say something negative about BW highlights the Black wide effect even more. It’s a shame that other men see the value in BW more so than our own men

The fact that BM don’t like and make jest of our education and the money we make is mind boggling to me. I mean some of the comments I’ve seen some BM make to BW about positive accomplishments that can elevate the BM as well is sad and sickening to me. I mean, who doesn’t want an educated, smart woman? And if you feel a type of way, what’s stopping you from achieving your goals? Why can’t they match our energy? I’m exhausted at this point. I think other ethnic men value an educated woman because she can truly support his vision and will likely make a great partner. If she’s smart, she’ll make an excellent mother and if you have a business she can use her skills to support and build the business and create a beautiful and loving home environment. Somehow many BM didn’t get the memo.

@@curtissmith2398It's not a question if they need to or not. BP are treated like crap because of the BM's social status. They don't own or control any resources and rely on other males for everything.

@@curtissmith2398 I’m talking about in general. Im sure you know how some BM complain about BW on everything: how we look, dress, hair, skin tone, “attitude”, etc. Not all BM but many. BW experience with BM is dismissed all the time. We’re told to choose better, etc…. Our experience is valid. Especially if many women from all types of socioeconomic backgrounds have similar experiences. But I know even this statement will likely be dismissed.

@@MeMyself984 Are we ready to have this conversation? I don't dismiss nor devalue anyone's experience. But there are a couple of questions we should perhaps explore. If this generation of BM are so bad, where did they come from? Who raised them? The tragic truth is that for a variety of reasons, BM have been absent from the home, and the onus of raising Black boys has fallen on BW. What kind of man are these boys being raised to be? Are they being coddled, or turned into men? Are they husband-sons? Are they being raised in the image of their deadbeat-gangster-imprisoned fathers? What do we glorify? Are we piercing their ears and buying them Jordans before they can even walk? This is not every BW, and of course, I'm generalizing, but there are some real questions to be asked and some real conversations to be had. Where are all these horrible BM coming from? The most important question is, how do we dig ourselves out of this hole TOGETHER. The subliminal question for this entire show, was "Why do Black couples not benefit from this same effect?" Why are BM who are married to BW not living longer? Why are they not doing better economically? Why are the marriages not lasting the same? It's about us looking at ourselves, and working through whatever historical and structural trauma that is still in place.

Elaborate? In case you missed it, the subliminal question was, "Why do Black-on-Black marriages not benefit from this same effect?"
