I love how they don't need big stage productions to make a show amazing; Robert just has to stand and sing. xwx

Bloodflowers ages so well. It was such a sweet album to integrate into who I was in 2000, and like every great Cure album it accomplished that feat with enormity and gravity only felt by letting Robert Smith deep dive into your soul. This album still sits comfortably into my top Cure records.

A young Dave Gahan on guitars at 0:15 🙂. Love both DM and The Cure....I was just telling my wife about the first time I heard the Disintegration album....scout camp 1989 inside a teepee we set up. I was wowed then and continue to be....

I agree with you - most people think this song does the reverse and MAKES you sad; but when I'm sad, this song is one of two songs that puts me back on my feet (The other one being Radiohead's 'Fake Plastic Trees')
