They are the most endeared and love bands in the world hands down !!! I love this band why, because they connect with every emotion of the soul musically, no other band compares! No matter what mood you are in or feeling, you can always run to their music to get your fix & cure !!! Robert Smith & The Cure is music genius !!!

The lyrics are just pure unvarnished truth - life is a tragedy for all of us, meaning we all die, and there's no heaven or afterlife, but Robert makes it seem ok. Thank you Robert!!

There is heaven and eternal life. Jesus Christ is real and desires a relationship with us by praying to him. God lived in human form (Jesus), and willingly died as a sacrifice for us for our many sins. I invite you to believe in him and live your life for him. :)

an extremely strong band. And I come from the seventies and have always listened to this band, with all due respect, always since 1982. And still love them, today before, there was ledzepp, deep purple or black sabbath, and then came the cure - and its unheard-of radiance in these songs, sometimes extended - before, before the singer started, i still love them. great band of individualists for sure. unforgettable, everlasting music

My original comment, before going off on a Robert Smith vs. Hitler rant- was going to be how immense the 6 string bass and guitars sound on this one. LOVE IT!!!!!! After 23 years of being a Cure waif, I never seem to ever get enough of The Cure and the 6 string bass jangle. It's like McDonald's french fries or apple pie or Coca-Cola or a nice cup of hot choco in the winter time. They never grow old!

I don’t think Robert Smith believes in heaven: he is an outspoken atheist. One of the ideas behind this song is that he believes there is no God: there is no master plan, no one pulling the strings, no hidden hands.

I love it. The world is neither fair nor unfair The idea is just a way for us to understand But the world is neither fair nor unfair So one survives The others die And you always want a reason why But the world is neither just nor unjust It's just us trying to feel that there's some sense in it No, the world is neither just nor unjust And though going young So much undone Is a tragedy for everyone It doesn't speak a plan or any secret thing No unseen sign or untold truth in anything... If you really listened to the lyrics, you would know that he was mocking religion and the concept of god in this song. He is saying that nothing happens for a reason and that there is no god controlling what happens in the world. Robert Smith is an atheist. Get a clue.
