Sanskriti Jindal I don’t think that’s accurate. Some people just feed off the attention and perform better live. That doesn’t mean they’re not true musicians. The fact that Amy was better in these private versions only speaks about the kind of person she was. It may be an “extrovert”/“introvert” thing though I don’t believe in that dichotomy either.

Amy Winehouse was so much more than a drug addict. it makes me angry when people use her song "rehab" to summarize her life. She was really talented and was a sweet person. I met her twice and she taught me soo many things. Thanks Amy! Hope you're in a happy place now. WE LOVE YOU and don't worry we'll make your music live forever!

Wasn’t even a drug addict. She liked to drink and I think as would anyone having to perform in front of so many people and having to endure her own personal struggles. She did drugs and came off them. The illuminati took her out. She even says in her interviews “they tried to mold in me into a triangle shape and I went no”

mgeek1 After watching the documentary the lyrics makes it clear about how she was pushed to perform, even if she was ill from benzodiazepines (the doctor gave her) combined with alcohol. Amy Jade Winehouse (14 September 1983 - 23 July 2011) was an English singer and songwriter known for her deep expressive contralto vocals and her eclectic mix of musical genres, including soul[1][2][3] (sometimes labelled as blue-eyed soul and neo soul),[4][5] rhythm and blues,[6][7][8] and jazz.[9][10] Winehouse's debut album, Frank (2003), was a critical success in the UK and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. Her follow-up album, Back to Black (2006), led to five 2008 Grammy Awards, tying the then record for the most wins by a female artist in a single night, and made her the first British female to win five Grammys,[11][12] including three of the general field "Big Four" awards: Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

Amy’s Sessions in the Green Lazy Chair, or at least that’s how I call them. This is how I like Amy the most. She sits, gesticulates the way only she can and pours her talent into singing, humming, throaty murmuring, singing the way we have not heard before her and we will not hear it after... So, let’s listen her beautiful sitting performance: Valerie, Rehab, You Know I'm No Good (we know that you're not Amy) and Love is a Losing Game. Without excellent videos. Only Amy, and the green armchair.
