Often, when a celebrity dies, we get the usual epithet that we’ll never see their like again. In Cuddly Ken’s case, we genuinely haven’t. Not even close.

I remember when I was a teenager rushing around trying to get all my chores done before I was allowed to watch the Kenny Everett Video Show on a Thursday evening. Dad thought it was daft until the time he saw Hot Gossip and then he understood part of my fascination! ... I actually cried when Kenny passed on. We miss you, Ken. rip.

Still cracks me up 40 years later. I especially love the bit when Robin and Mo scratch their hairy chests while singing, LOL. Thanks Ken, you were a genius.

I remember seeing this when it aired back in the late 70's when the Bee Gees were attheir height with Saturday Nite Fever. Kenny was hilarious, and the Gibb brothers thoughtit was really funny too. I saw them on a talk show around that time talking about howmuch they enjoyed Kenny's show, and his piss take on them. The fact is, the Gibb Bros, were born here in the UK and loved our humour. Shame there is no bottle D anymoreBarry, just hang on in there, you have many Fans out there. R.I.P Kenny, Maurice, Robinand Andy.

I miss an awful lot of people we've sadly lost over the years but Kenny is somewhere close to the top of that list. It's only when you watch clips like this that you realise just how far ahead of the bunch he truely was. Just like the goons before him and Doddy a few years after, you will always remember Kenny with a tear in your eye but with a huge grin on your face.

Brilliant. These tv shows and his radio shows were light years ahead of any other dj. I used to tape his shows in the 70s, cutting out the music & just recording his talking between. That's how good he was. A tragic loss when he died. Never been another to match him.
