I've tried the DRC lipo warmers (look to be the same as Exalt) and they do the trick. So far I've only cycled my packs w/a 10amp discharge/20 amp charge per the instructions. IRs have been comparable to cycling the same packs w/a 40amp charge/discharge

That's awesome thank you soo much on that. That's something people aren't talking about. I didn't know they tech lipo temp. Have you came across that, them teching your lipo temps?

@@rcvitals no, but that is most likely for ROAR sanctioned races like a regionals or a nationals. Races like the JCon INS/NCTS don't temp the packs, just measure the voltage. I guess it just depends on if those who are putting on the race want to adhere to all the ROAR rules or not. Typically I've just seen weight, voltage and checking for blinky mode for the stock guys.

For what it’s worth a lot of the fast 2wd buggy guys don’t run RM2 foams or thicker sidewalls in mod. Too much push. For 17.5 though I like the thicker sidewalls. Probably because the buggy isn’t fast enough to generate push in full throttle sweepers.

I was trying to say you can use a GREEN cleaner that is very SIMPLE to use 😉🤣 but apparently that's not allowed 😂

I am lucky enough to live 20 min from Hoosier and I met the Hoosier crew when the track was behind Eddie's garage. They have local support because they go above and beyond to support the locals. Everyone that works there will stop what they are doing to ask if they can help you, it's Hoosier hospitality. You should come run one of our points races 2/17 & 3/16 are the next two.

Yes you're truly lucky. I'm about 7 to 8 hours away. But I will be back for sure. Their hobby store has parts you can't get in other places

KZitem keeps deleting my comments. I think because I said brand names and websites. Did you ever get your hardware colored?

Naw I didn't, I've been watching vids on it. It doesn't look that hard once you get your power supply. It just seem super time consuming. Did you try it yet?

@@rcvitals Definitely I've done gold and purple. My dad bought me a power supply but I started with just two 9v batteries. You don't really have to polish everything as long as it's dirt and oil free.

B7 platform is set up for the options. Sadly it will probably be better to have a B7 for glued/sugar tracks and a B7D for off-road. Unless you like complete rebuild per track. B7 has a new gear diff and front/rear anti roll bars. B7D has ball diff, softer springs. I honestly would eventually like to build both and have them setup differently. Just that damn pocketbook is crying!

Go backwards and go Vintage and slow the pace down and actually drive the track. Slap a 21.5 in and enjoy actual RC vs. Wallet dumping.

Carpet racing seems to be the destruction of RC racing in America. Most boring non Racing events of just following the person in front of you with cars going so fast the spectator can barely even stay focused.

True, beachline in coco beach stands out. They put big air and hard obstacles, to make it interesting. But less building owners don't want dirt in their buildings. Carpet has been going that way for awhile.

Carpet is user friendly, it's one of the easiest forms of rc for new entry level racers. Dirt can be very discouraging especially when it comes to tires and the process it takes to make grip or even make laps

@@rcvitals I don't understand why, Carpet is extremely expensive and most of it only last 3 years. Brent from Beach has had his same dirt for 10 years, so that doesn't even make any sense.

@@rctrophychasers Cool hopefully they keep it for newbies only and leave all the real off road racing alone. In my honest opinion carpet racers should just switch to on road(almost the same exact thing).
